Welcome to Katie Gaeta Photography

It’s 2015.  A new year, a new website, a new blog, and a new look!  I am beyond thrilled to introduce you guys to my website!  Seriously, someone pinch me. I can hardly believe this website is now official!

I need to thank my husband, Tony, for constantly pushing me to go, go, go and for lighting the fire under me (again and again) to make this dream a reality.  I also need to thank my clients from 2014 for making it such a great year!   I was so lucky to get to meet and work with so many lovely people and I can’t wait to do it again in 2015.

I also need to specifically mention my Graphic Designer, but more importantly, my friend, AJ McBride.   He’s the one responsible for the new look and design here at Katie Gaeta Photography.  His work is seriously awesome and so is he!  He spent countless hours diligently fine tuning everything for me and was such a perfectionist about all of it — which I love!   If anyone out there reading this is looking for a Graphic Designer, he’s your man and you NEED to get in contact with him.  Shoot him an email at ajmcbride93@hotmail.com.  You will not be disappointed, I promise!!

Speaking of AJ, you may actually recognize his sweet little boy, Ryker, and his wife (who also happens to be my BFF), Stacy, from some past sessions.  Ryker is about to celebrate his 1st birthday and I got to take his quintessential first birthday photos.

It’s so fun to go through photos from a session and find yourself grinning ear to ear because of the cuteness looking back at you on the screen.  Ryker was no exception.  His outfit and his baseball were so fitting for him.  He’s always decked out in sports gear or a sporty outfit and for a one year old, he has an arm to be reckoned with.  Pacifier?  Bottle?  Baseball?  No problem.  If you hand it to him, you can be sure it will be chucked across the floor in no time at all!  Future MLB star?  I think so!

He even does the "Touchdown" move on command!!

He loved the cake and needed very little convincing to dive right in.  They say don’t worry about giving a one year old a cake even if they’ve never had it before because they typically consume only a small portion of the cake anyway.  If there is one thing for sure, Ryker is here to break the mold.  That boy ate his cake like it was his job!!

Happy 1st Birthday, Ryker!  I can’t wait watch you grow!
